Budget accommodation in residential Cartagena

Secure car parking, close proximity to relatives in this residential area, room had air conditioning

You just need to be aware this isn’t a hotel for tourists, the property is located in a typical residential area of Cartagena and you should only be staying here if you are familiar with the area. A new lift is presently under construction.

Everything. Took over 30 mins to check in, No elevator, key didn’t work for room, dirty sheets, wifi password only in lobby ? Located right beside main road in which every motorbike that passes blares their horn making it impossible to sleep

A gem in Barranquilla

The staff made my stay. From check-in to breakfast they were helpful with my luggage, friendly, and beyond accommodating.

The location is safe, and a good area to stay for a night however, there are other hotels closer to the museums and plazas. On a non-carnival night, Parque Central is lull, with a bit of activity surrounding the mall.

My best night in Cartagena

Jacqueline (forgive me for I do not know the proper spelling), whom I believe to be the owner I'd met after my previous nights stay. She was well versed in English as was the Matradee I'd had. Everyone was very caring and honest and even though my stay was brief I felt welcome even with my late night food requests. Wonderful staff -- absolutely cannot praise them enough. Also they have an on-site restaurant which serves delicious breakfast foods.

There were connectivity issues due to the office changing to the front room. That should be resolved since I saw that the contractors were all in to fix that the next morning. I wasn't there for business so it didn't affect me, but it would have been nice to know about ahead of time.
